Consent Policy
We only scan faces with consent.
Unimpersonationable exists to protect people from the misuse of their own likeness. That protection starts with a non-negotiable principle: we never process a face without the explicit, informed consent of the person it belongs to.
Section 01
Our commitment
Unimpersonationable is a biometric identity protection service. We only process facial images with the explicit consent of the data subject. We do not operate a public face search engine. Users may search only for their own likeness — never for strangers.
Section 02
What we do NOT do
- We do not build a searchable database of strangers' faces.
- We do not sell biometric data or search results.
- We do not process your face without your explicit, revocable consent.
- We do not scan children's faces without verified parental consent.
Section 03
Your rights under GDPR Art. 9 and equivalents
- Right to withdraw consent at any time.
- Right to erasure of your biometric data.
- Right of access to the data we hold about you.
- Right to data portability.
Email admin@unimpersonationable.com to exercise any of these rights.
Section 04
Legal basis
We process biometric data solely on the basis of explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)). For minors, consent is given by a parent or legal guardian.
Section 05
Retention
Face embeddings are stored until you revoke consent or delete your account. Scan query images are deleted within 10 minutes of search completion.
