1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Unimpersonationable ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Unimpersonationable.

2. Service Description

Unimpersonationable provides tools to help people identify and respond to unauthorized use of their likeness online. The Service includes:

Face scan: Upload a photo to search the web for matching faces. Your photo is processed to compute a face embedding, then discarded. Results show where your likeness appears online.
Guardian enrollment: Opt in to ongoing monitoring. We store your email and monitoring preferences. Your face embedding is held in your browser's local cache (IndexedDB) — it is never transmitted to our servers. We use it locally during each scheduled scan and alert you when matches are found.
DMCA notice generator: Generate takedown notices based on scan results. You review and send the notices yourself.
LINE bot: Send a face photo via LINE to receive scan results in-chat. Images are processed and immediately deleted.
AI deepfake detection: Automated analysis to determine whether images containing your likeness may be AI-generated or manipulated.

3. Not a Law Firm

Unimpersonationable is a technology company, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or legal services. DMCA takedown notices generated through Unimpersonationable are automated tools — not legal counsel. No attorney-client relationship is formed by using the Service.

You are responsible for reviewing any DMCA notice before sending it. Filing a false DMCA notice may have legal consequences. Unimpersonationable provides the template; you make the legal assertion.

4. Service Tiers

Free tier: Unlimited face scans with rate limiting. No service-level agreement. Access to DMCA notice generation. Guardian enrollment available.
Agency tier: Paid subscription for professional use. Includes higher rate limits, priority scanning, and dedicated support. Includes a 14-day free trial. Subject to a service-level agreement as described in the Agency subscription terms.

Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method on each billing date. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice. All fees are in USD.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Unimpersonationable to:

Scan faces of people who have not consented to being scanned.
Conduct surveillance, stalking, or harassment of any kind.
File false or fraudulent DMCA takedown notices.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our scanning infrastructure.
Upload content that is illegal, abusive, or violates third-party rights.
Use the Service for any purpose that is harmful, deceptive, or violates applicable law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if we determine you are violating these terms.

6. Biometric Data Consent

By uploading a photo to Unimpersonationable, you consent to us processing that photo to compute a face embedding. The photo transits a Cloudflare Worker proxy briefly to reach public reverse-image search engines and is not retained on our servers. The face embedding is stored in your browser's local cache (IndexedDB) and never transmitted to us. If you enroll in guardian monitoring, the embedding remains on your device and is used locally during each scheduled scan. You may clear your local cache or request account deletion at any time by emailing admin@unimpersonationable.com. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how we handle biometric data.

7. DMCA Notices

Unimpersonationable generates DMCA takedown notice templates based on your scan results. These notices are generated by automated tools, not by attorneys. You are solely responsible for reviewing the notice, confirming its accuracy, and sending it to the relevant platform. Unimpersonationable is not liable for any consequences of DMCA notices you send, including counter-notices, disputes, or legal action arising from your filings.

8. Third-Party Platforms

Unimpersonationable interacts with third-party platforms (including search engines and social media sites) to scan for unauthorized use of your likeness. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or responses of these platforms. Takedown requests are sent at your direction, and platform compliance is outside our control.

9. No Warranty

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ALL UNAUTHORIZED CONTENT WILL BE DETECTED OR REMOVED. SCAN RESULTS MAY INCLUDE FALSE POSITIVES OR MISS CERTAIN CONTENT.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNIMPERSONATIONABLE'S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100 USD.

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ACTIONS TAKEN OR NOT TAKEN BY THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS IN RESPONSE TO TAKEDOWN REQUESTS.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

12. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved first through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Cheyenne, Wyoming under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Class action and jury trial rights are waived to the extent permitted by law, except that non-US consumer statutory protections (including Thailand PDPA and EU GDPR) are preserved regardless of this clause.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of Unimpersonationable after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
